I have been neglecting my blog for a while now. So here goes. I finally bought my macbook.
I decided to buy the macbook pro. I absolutely love it. I am not going to sit here and do a review of it, but I’ll let you know how I saved the money. If you happen to look at my “counted pennies” you might see that “she never had enough for a macbook pro.” Well…. here’s the story.
I was supposed to go on a mini vacation this summer to NYC. However, due to certain circumstances it didn’t happen. SO I decided to combine my travel fund with my mac fund. ANNNDDD guess what? Yep…. It was enough to buy my mac.
The feeling of walking out of a store when you made a purchase is by the far the greatest. The feeling of walking out of a store after making a purchase knowing that its not going to be on your credit card for the rest of your life is even better. :) This saving money thing is going great!! I find it so rewarding.
I guess i am the type of person who enjoys the process of something, and the reward it gives you. For example, I love watching my savings grow. And then I love walking into the store and making the purchase that I have been waiting for. It’s sooo great :)
Accessories
I have yet to purchase the apple care plan, but I will this coming September. However, I did buy some needed/not so needed accessories. I bought a speck purple hardshell case, and I bought a purple keyboard cover from top case.
COST: I bought both products from Amazon.com. The great news is I paid 50.05 for the Speck hardshell case. However, because shipping was late, amazon refunded me 11.something….YAY :) And the keyboard cover, sit down…..cost 0.99 cents. With shipping it came up to around 7 dollars. I was really close to purchasing the incase keyboard cover that had cool designs on it. BUT for 0.99 cents….you can’t go wrong.
Now I have to change up all my financial goals/savings accounts on here.
LOVE MY MAC <3
Next goal: DSLR :)
